VolCorp Employees Donate to Dollywood Foundation for the Wildfire Relief Fund
After hearing about the devastation caused by the 2016 Great Smoky Mountains wildfires in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge areas at the end of November 2016, VolCorp’s Activity Committee researched ways for the employees to help. During the month of December, the Committee collected donations from employees in the amount of $810 dollars. In addition to the monetary donations, clothing was also donated. “In times like these, the generosity of our employees shines through,” states Jeff Merry, CEO. “We are very humbled and thankful for the amazing hearts and response of our employees in their donation efforts.” VolCorp matched all employee contributions for a total donation of $1,620.
