VolCorp Welcomes Renee Hinson
Renee Hinson VolCorp is proud to welcome Renee Hinson to our staff! Renee was recently hired as a Member Relations Manager and will be working closely with our Business Development and Marketing Team. Renee’s primary focus will be serving our members in Tennessee.

Renee is a native Tennessean who lives “down south” in Maury County. She started her career at Maury Progressive Credit Union in Columbia, TN and worked there for 10 years. During her time with Maury Progressive, Renee worked in multiple areas including member services, loans, operations and accounting. When the credit union merged with a larger Tennessee credit union in 2005, she decided it was time for a change and went to work for a core data processor, Symitar. Renee worked with Symitar for 12 years doing software support, installations, and on-site training. Based on her time with Symitar, she has developed relationships with many of VolCorp’s credit unions and is eager to build more. She has now circled back to the wonderful world of credit unions. Renee says, “I enjoy helping people; it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling, and I am looking forward to working with VolCorp’s credit unions.”

Renee enjoys being outside, especially hiking in the Smoky Mountains with her family, and scrapbooking. She admits she is also that crazy cat lady who has more pictures of her cat on her phone than her son, but he is grown so who cares about seeing him?

VolCorp feels very fortunate to have Renee on staff. Her knowledge of the credit union industry and her drive to assist member credit unions is a tremendous asset.
