About VolCorp
Founded in 1981 by a special act of the Tennessee State Legislature, Volunteer Corporate Credit Union – or VolCorp, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative that exists with the sole purpose of helping credit unions grow and support the businesses they believe in.
Profit is not our driving force. Our company is wholly owned and directed by our member credit unions, which allows us to provide necessary, comprehensive, and useful financial solutions tailored to meet real member needs. As a result, credit unions can always trust us to have their best interest at heart.
We currently serve over 330 credit unions spread across the United States. While we may have started our work in Tennessee, we now have members in Kentucky, Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
